I’m Emir Chacra, from Chile.

I’m currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer music at University of California, San Diego, where I’m doing research on Digital Audio Effects and learning how to develop hardware based on the Daisy Platform.

As a music producer, I’m interested in merging latin-inspired rhythms (specially Brazilian Funk and Reggaeton) with House and Ambient techniques.

I’m also a film photographer :)
